Megan Moroney breaks the silence on her concert’s unplanned dress code

Megan Moroney shared her ongoing concert experience.

In an interview with People Magazine, the singer-songwriter spoke about her recent Cloud 9 tour, during which she noticed that fans had created an unofficial dress code.

She said, “If you go to a show, everyone there looks like they followed a very strict dress code.”

“You know, there was no dress code,” she noted.

Adding, “But it’s just so much fun, and it’s fun to bring these songs to life visually and with all the pink and the glitter and the white boots, of course. It’s just been a really fun time.”

The 26-year-old singer further revealed that the tour has taken a deeper meaning, beyond a fashion trend, “I just think it’s more than a concert, and that’s what I’ve realized on this tour… I think, genuinely, the show has helped people, which is not something I ever imagined would be possible as an artist, you know?”

Noting, “But when I meet my fans and read messages and stuff— the show has changed some of their lives. So it’s really impactful, and it’s just made me feel very grateful for all of the good things that [have] come with the tour.”

“And it’s just such a positive, inclusive, happy environment, even though sometimes we’re singing about really sad stuff, like wedding dress,” Megan further revealed.

For those unaware, the country music sensation’s Cloud 9 tour is still going and is set to conclude on October 1.
