‘Killjoy’ director John LeChago dies unexpectedly

Horror filmmaker John LeChago, famously known for directing several films in Full Moon Features’ Killjoy franchise has passed away.
At the age of 57, John died unexpectedly after becoming unresponsive at the end of a judo practice session.
The Sawtelle Judo club in California revealed statement on behalf of John’s family, revealing that his daughter Lia discovered him and immediately called emergency services.
The sudden loss came just weeks after LeChago celebrated earning his brown belt in judo, a milestone he had reportedly spent months working toward.
“We honour the passing of John LeChago after he passed away at the end of Judo practice recently,” the statement read. “A dedicated and devoted member of our Judo community. We support the family in this time of need with this donation link. We also plan to host charity clinics on Saturday afternoon (August 18), hosted by Juan Morillo Sensei, Morillo Judo Academy.”
“John LeChago was a long-time member and student under Morillo Sensei. He hosts these and other clinics in the Southland in memory of John. Clinic details will be posted by next week,” it revealed further.
