Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has extended his greetings to the nation on the 79th Independence Day, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Air Chief Marshal and Naval Chief also conveyed their Independence Day greetings and expressed their best wishes for the people of Pakistan, ISPR said.
The Pakistan Armed Forces congratulated the nation on Independence Day and paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founders of Pakistan and all martyrs of the independence movement.
The armed forces also paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the motherland and saluted all those who laid down their lives in the service of Pakistan.
ISPR said the armed forces also honored the sacrifices and services of the country’s veterans and personnel of law enforcement agencies.
The armed forces further paid tribute to all Pakistanis who continue to serve the nation and contribute to its progress.
