Kyle Loftis the founder of the widely recognized automotive media platform 1320Video, has passed away at the age of 34 the company confirmed on Tuesday night May 5. No cause of death has been disclosed at this time.

The announcement was shared through an official statement on Facebook, where the 1320Video team expressed deep sorrow and shock over his sudden passing.

“We are extremely saddened to share that Kyle Loftis, the founder of 1320Video, passed away last night. We are in a state of shock,” the statement read.

                               

It further added that Loftis’s passion for motorsports had a profound global impact inspiring millions of enthusiasts around the world. The team described him as a “beam of light” at every gathering, noting that his enthusiasm, kindness, and creativity were highly contagious.

Loftis established 1320Video in the early 2000s, gradually transforming it into one of the most influential digital platforms in global car culture.

Over the years it amassed nearly 4 million YouTube subscribers and more than 6.4 million followers on Facebook, eventually reaching an audience of over 10 million across multiple platforms.

The platform became widely known for its raw coverage of drag racing, roll racing, dyno runs, and car meet events, offering an unfiltered look into grassroots motorsport culture. It also gained attention for its focus on street racing content, which at times sparked debate due to legal and ethical concerns.

Despite such controversies, Loftis is widely credited with bringing underground automotive culture into mainstream digital media and redefining how motorsport content is consumed online.
