Mark Zuckerberg is reportedly working on an advanced artificial intelligence version of himself designed to interact with employees, respond to queries, and assist in internal company communication.
The AI system is said to be a highly realistic “digital clone” trained on his voice, tone, communication style, public statements, and decision-making patterns.
The aim is to create an avatar capable of engaging with Meta’s workforce of nearly 79,000 employees, helping streamline communication and making leadership more accessible across the company.
According to reports, Zuckerberg is directly involved in training and refining the system. The project is also connected to broader internal AI tools being developed to assist executives in quickly accessing company information and improving operational efficiency.
This initiative is part of a larger push by Meta into artificial intelligence, as the company invests heavily in AI infrastructure, expands its data centers, and strengthens its position in the global race toward advanced AI systems. The organization is also competing with major technology firms in the development of artificial general intelligence.
Alongside this effort Meta has already been testing AI systems capable of performing complex tasks such as analyzing images, estimating calories from food photos, and planning travel itineraries.
There are also indications that similar AI avatars could eventually be created for creators and public figures, allowing them to replicate their digital presence.
However, the concept has sparked criticism from experts, who warn it may affect workplace culture and raise concerns about authenticity, transparency, and the role of leadership within large organizations.
Some argue that replacing direct human communication with an AI version of a CEO could feel artificial and uncomfortable for employees.
At present, the project has not been officially confirmed, and no details have been released regarding its launch timeline or final features.
