The Witcher 4 writer Philipp Weber has reacted to positive early reviews for The Blood of Dawnwalker
The Witcher 4 lead writer Philipp Weber has congratulated Rebel Wolves after The Blood of Dawnwalker received positive early review scores ahead of its release.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is nearing its September 3 release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with reviews now appearing online.
Philipp Weber, lead writer on The Witcher 4, has responded to the reception for the upcoming action RPG.
Weber congratulated the team at Rebel Wolves, the studio behind The Blood of Dawnwalker, on social media.
“Congratulations to my friends at Rebel Wolves studio. It seems only vampires suck here, as the game’s ratings are amazing!!!”
The game is directed by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who previously served as game director on The Witcher 3. Its story follows Koen, a character who is human by day but becomes a vampire at night.
Koen must attempt to save his family while using both his supernatural abilities and conventional combat skills. The game is scheduled to launch on September 3, 2026.
The Blood of Dawnwalker has also attracted attention ahead of launch after some players reportedly received physical discs approximately a week before its official release.
The title can be wishlisted on Steam ahead of its September 3 launch. It will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
