Designer Guillermo Gonzalez unveils gel-filled, squeezable mouse concept.
A futuristic computer mouse concept is challenging conventional peripheral design by blending ergonomic engineering with stress-relief functionality, offering a new perspective on everyday digital interaction.
Created by designer Guillermo Gonzalez the “PILLIGA” mouse introduces a gel-infused squeezable structure that functions like a stress ball while maintaining full operational precision. The concept is aimed at professionals and heavy computer users who experience prolonged hand strain and fatigue.
Departing from traditional rigid plastic designs, the device features a semi-translucent, flexible upper shell filled with a responsive viscous material. This allows users to press, knead, and squeeze the surface naturally, without compromising cursor control or performance accuracy.
The mouse is sculpted into an organic dome-like form that conforms to the natural contours of the palm, delivering enhanced ergonomic alignment. This anatomical shaping is intended to reduce musculoskeletal stress and improve comfort during extended computing sessions.
Despite its unconventional form factor, the PILLIGA retains core functionality, including discrete left and right click zones and an integrated scroll interface. It is equipped with modern connectivity features such as USB-C charging, wireless operation, and an optical sensor positioned on the underside for seamless tracking.

Beyond functionality, the concept explores material and aesthetic versatility. Variants range from vibrant, fluid-filled finishes with suspended visual elements to more subdued, professional-grade textures tailored for corporate environments. This adaptability reflects a growing demand for personalization in consumer technology.
Industry observers view the PILLIGA concept as part of a broader shift toward tactile computing and wellness-integrated design, where hardware is engineered not only for efficiency but also for physical and cognitive well-being.
As the boundaries between technology and human comfort continue to blur, the PILLIGA mouse represents a forward-looking vision of peripherals that are not only tools of productivity but also instruments of relaxation and sensory balance.
