Security forces killed five terrorists in Balochistan’s Panjgur IBO

Security forces killed five terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district of Balochistan, the military’s media wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted in Panjgur on August 10, 2026, against terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan.

The ISPR said the operation aimed to eliminate proxies allegedly operating with Indian support and establish lasting peace in the area.

During the operation, security forces recovered a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from the terrorists. The IEDs were defused at the site.

Following the operation, a sanitization operation was also carried out in the area to eliminate any remaining terrorist threats and ensure security, according to the ISPR.

The military’s media wing said security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue operations until the complete elimination of foreign-sponsored terrorism under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam.

It added that operations against terrorism will be further intensified under Azm-e-Istehkam, which was approved by the federal Apex Committee of the National Action Plan.
