Pakistan Navy successfully tests anti-ship missile in North Arabian Sea

The Pakistan Navy has successfully carried out a live weapon firing exercise in the North Arabian Sea, showcasing its high-level operational readiness and exceptional precision in engaging maritime targets.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Navy successfully tested a locally developed anti-ship missile during the exercise. The high-speed surface-launched missile accurately engaged and destroyed a target at long range with remarkable precision.

ISPR stated that the missile is equipped with a state-of-the-art guidance and navigation system along with advanced technological features, enabling it to effectively evade enemy defensive systems while maintaining high accuracy against its target.

The missile firing was witnessed by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, along with a team of scientists and engineers associated with the project.

The military’s media wing further said that the successful trial highlights the Pakistan Navy’s technological advancement, operational excellence, and strong indigenous defense capabilities.

The President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, the Chief of Defence Forces, and the Services Chiefs extended their congratulations to the participating units, scientists, and engineers for this significant achievement.
