Megan Thee Stallion announces split from Klay Thompson amid cheating allegations

The couple had been linked since the summer of 2025, with their relationship largely playing out publicly
Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed the end of her relationship with NBA player Klay Thompson, citing concerns over trust and fidelity.
The Houston rapper, whose real name is Megan Pete, ended the relationship following months of public speculation.
A representative confirmed the split to TMZ, stating, “I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
Shortly before the confirmation, Megan shared a message on Instagram that appeared to reference the breakdown of the relationship.
The post read, “Cheating… had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,’” followed by remarks about “mood swings” and questioning whether someone could be “monogamous.”

She concluded the message by writing, “I need a REAL break after this one… bye yall.”
The couple had been linked since the summer of 2025, with their relationship largely playing out through public appearances and social media updates rather than formal announcements.
Over the past year, the pair were seen together during holidays and birthdays, contributing to ongoing interest in their status
