New shocking details have come to light about Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff’s split.
On Friday, an insider spilled to US Weekly that the Poor Things actress initiated her separation from the music producer.
“It happened recently, but they have been having issues for the last few years. Margaret initiated the separation,” the source said. “Both of their busy schedules and distance were factors, along with many other things like lack of trust in the marriage.”
The confidant added that “trust issues between both of them” made their relationship “hard.”
“They were still trying to work on the marriage a few months ago, but it ultimately wasn’t working,” a tipster continued. “At some point, the rose-colored glasses came off for Margaret, and she felt she needed to take a step back.”
As per the insider, Margaret and Jack “don’t have divorce plans yet.”
Meanwhile, another source told the outlet that “communication was definitely a challenge” between the couple throughout their marriage.
“Jack could be very particular about how he liked things,” explained the insider. “He’d often prefer for things to be done the way he thought was best, and Margaret didn’t always feel like her perspective was being heard or given the same weight.”
These surprising revelations have emerged just two days after it was confirmed that Margaret and Jack have separated after nearly three years of marriage.
