Popular YouTuber Rajab Butt was injured after an attack by a group of lawyers inside the Karachi City Court on Monday, raising serious concerns about security within court premises.
According to initial reports, Butt had appeared in court to request interim bail in a case filed against him. As he entered the court premises, a confrontation with a group of lawyers escalated into a violent attack.
Eyewitnesses reported that Butt sustained injuries to his jaw and mouth, resulting in visible bleeding. Court officials and police intervened, eventually dispersing the attackers and restoring order.
Following the incident, the court extended Rajab Butt’s interim bail until January 13.
