Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky have welcomed their first child together.
The confirmation came from Page Six, but details about the baby, including their name, gender, and birth date, remain undisclosed.
The news came out as the new family of three was recently spotted together for the first time in Northern California.
Gaga, 40, and Polansky, 42, have been engaged since March 2024 and have largely stayed out of the public eye in recent months. Gaga hadn’t been seen publicly since August, when she briefly stopped for a photo with a fan.
A source close to the singer said she’s been keeping a low profile since wrapping her nearly nine-month-long Mayhem Ball tour in April.
“She hasn’t really gotten to have a private life since she was like 22 … she’s been laying low since the tour ended,” a source close to Gaga told Page Six, noting that “everything is good” and they’re a big fan of the singer having Polansky by her side.
“They have an amazing biodome of love. Seems like a really safe place for her.”
Gaga, who has been with Polansky since 2019, has previously spoken about her evolving feelings on motherhood, telling New York Times in a 2025 interview that she’d grown excited about becoming a parent.
“I’m excited to be a mom. I used to have a lot of apprehension about it,” she told the outlet. “The thing that’s the most important to me is to not force my children to live a life that they are not choosing. So the more that we can give them space to discover who they are on their own, that’s the thing that I believe in the most.”
By an October 2025 appearance on The Stephen Colbert Show, Gaga sounded ready for the shift, saying that becoming a mother was the role she wanted most.
However, she admitted grappling with how a child would change her sense of identity and creative freedom.
“I’m also kind of at war with myself sometimes as I get ready to, hopefully, become a mom soon,” she told the outlet. “Like, today is wonderful, but the whole day has revolved around me. There’s an incredible amount of narcissism in this.”
