Khushab and Bahawalpur mark first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” with grand patriotic events

In Khushab a ceremony titled “Jashn-e-Marka-e-Haq” was organized at Kashmir Park, Jauharabad, where Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Labar and DPO Dr. Amara Shehzadi attended as chief guests.

The guests were warmly received with traditional horse dance performances and drumbeats. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a Naat in praise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The event saw participation from several prominent figures, including Member National Assembly Malik Shakir Bashir Awan, MPA Malik Asif Bha, Senator Dr. Ghaus Khan Niazi, and others. Participants marked the occasion by cutting a celebratory cake and offering special prayers for national security and the Pakistan Armed Forces.

Renowned performers Abid Kanwal and Waqar Abbas Vicky energized the gathering with their performances, while children presented patriotic songs and tableaus, adding color and enthusiasm to the event. The ceremony concluded with a spectacular fireworks display.

Meanwhile in Bahawalpur the district administration commemorated the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq by installing a towering 150-foot national flag, named the “Memorial of Marka-e-Haq.” The unveiling ceremony took place at Firdous Park in Satellite Town’s commercial area.

The event was attended by former Punjab Governor Baligh Ur Rehman, former Senator Saood Majeed, MPA Sadia Bilal, and other senior officials.

Speakers highlighted the sacrifices and unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Armed Forces in safeguarding the country, emphasizing that the nation stands firmly united with its military and remains ready to make any sacrifice for national defence.
