“We are very sorry to inform you that due to illness, Daniela and Megan were unable to attend today’s VIP Group Photo and will not be participating in the scheduled Soundcheck and Q&A session for the Boston show,” the announcement stated.
The notice confirmed that Daniela, Megan, Lara Raj and Yoonchae Jeung would perform at the main concert as scheduled.
Lara and Yoonchae also took part in the soundcheck activities, appearing in coordinated pink outfits.
The announcement prompted disappointment among some fans, particularly those who had purchased VIP tickets expecting to meet the full group.
One fan described the reduced experience as “A MESS”, while others called for greater transparency about the members’ health and tour commitments.
However, many supporters prioritised the singers’ well-being, urging fans to allow them time to recover. Social media reactions included calls for the members to rest amid continuing health-related absences.
The concept of paying for a vip ticket for a 6 member group only to see 4 of them and then having your vip photo with only 2 of them… A MESS https://t.co/jZIQcCpuLA

KATSEYE has faced several changes to its group activities in 2026. Sophia Laforteza began a temporary hiatus in August to focus on her mental health and well-being, while Manon Bannerman also stepped back from activities earlier in the year.
Despite the latest absences, the Boston concert was scheduled to proceed, with fans hoping Daniela and Megan would recover soon.
