
King Abdullah II of Jordan arrived in Pakistan on Saturday for a two-day official visit, during which he will hold important meetings with the country’s leadership.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed King Abdullah II upon his arrival at the PAF Base Nur Khan in Rawalpindi.
The Foreign Office confirmed the Jordanian leader’s visit on Friday, saying that King Abdullah II would “hold important meetings with the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan”.
A special investiture ceremony will be held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr (President House) to confer the highest civilian award upon King Abdullah II, a statement issued by the FO read.
