Jesse Eisenberg shares son Banner’s sweet wish after ‘A Real Pain’ cameo

Jesse Eisenberg’s son Banner is all set to follow in his father’s footsteps.
On Sunday, June 28, the 42-year-old American actor and playwright attended the premiere of Minions & Monsters in Los Angeles.
At the event, PEOPLE magazine asked Jesse whether his younger sister and a former child star, Hallie Kate Eisenberg, would ever act in any of his upcoming projects, as she is famous as “The Pepsi Girl” for her appearance in the 1990s and early 2000s Pepsi advertising campaign.
Responding to the outlet, he said Hallie has no intention of acting in the near future; however, his nine-year-old son, Banner, is eager to show his acting prowess in more of his films.
“No, my kid wants to be in all the movies, though,” The Social Network star said.
For those unaware, Banner made a cameo in his father’s 2024 comedy drama film, A Real Pain, which he directed and played David Kaplan’s role in.
Notably, the film secured an Academy Award in 2025, as Kieran Culkin, who portrayed Benji Kaplan in the film, took home the Best Supporting Actor Award.
It is pertinent to mention that Jesse Eisenberg shares Banner with his wife Anna Strout, whom he married in 2017.
