Jaime King responds to Taylor Swift’s engagement news after rift rumours

Jaime King is still Taylor Swift’s well-wisher despite the distance that has slowly seeped into their friendship.
The 46-year-old actress and the pop superstar, 35, reportedly drifted apart and stopped talking, but King still wishes they could reconnect at some point.
The Eras Tour performer, who is also King’s son, Leo Thames’ godmother, has never stepped down from her duties for the child, and King has nothing but best wishes for her, too.
“Yeah, I’m f—ing stoked,” the White Chicks star said to Us Weekly about Swift’s engagement to Travis Kelce, adding, “Like, this is absolutely, this is the person. This is her person. Yeah, I’m so happy.”
King also talked about her own engagement to Austin Sosa, as she starts a new life after finalising her divorce from now-ex-husband Kyle Newman.
“I’m just really excited for this new time in my life. The person that I’m engaged to, I love deeply,” King said of her financer fiancé.
When asked about the wedding plans, the mother of two shared that getting married is not her biggest priority at the moment, as she wants to focus on her sons, James Knight, 11, and Leo, 9.
