Ishaq Dar holds talks with Iran and Jordan FMs on regional peace and stability

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held separate telephonic conversations with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, focusing on regional developments, bilateral relations, and ongoing diplomatic efforts for peace.

During his call with the Iranian Foreign Minister both sides reviewed the evolving regional situation and the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement. Seyed Abbas Araghchi appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role and mediation efforts in promoting dialogue between relevant parties.

Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s consistent position that disputes should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy, emphasizing Islamabad’s support for long-term regional stability.

In a separate conversation with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi the two leaders discussed bilateral ties and the broader regional landscape. Safadi acknowledged Pakistan’s constructive contribution in easing tensions and supporting peace initiatives in the region.

Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening engagement among regional stakeholders and supporting peaceful resolution of conflicts through diplomatic means.

Both sides expressed satisfaction over the strong Pakistan–Jordan relations and agreed to enhance cooperation at bilateral and multilateral forums. They also underscored the importance of continued coordination on matters of mutual interest.
