Ireland Baldwin has criticized Kim Kardashian for carrying what appears to be an elephant leather Hermès Birkin bag in her new Hulu series, All’s Fair. A fashion Instagram page shared a video of Kim holding the rare gray bag on set, which sparked backlash online.
Baldwin reacted strongly, calling the handbag “disgusting and shameful,” questioning why celebrities who use such items continue to receive support.

Although Hermès doesn’t produce elephant leather bags anymore, animal rights groups, including PETA, claim the few that exist were made decades ago from elephants killed on safari.
Kim’s character in the show is styled with bold, high-fashion looks, but viewers have already criticized her wardrobe choices as unrealistic for a lawyer. All’s Fair has also been heavily panned by critics despite its star-studded cast.
