ICC releases updated ODI player rankings

In the ODI batting rankings, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell holds the top position

KARACHI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest player rankings, highlighting notable changes across ODI batting, bowling, and all-rounder categories.

ODI Batting Rankings

In the ODI batting rankings, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell holds the top position, followed by India’s Virat Kohli in second place and Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran in third.

Pakistan’s Babar Azam remains in sixth position, while Salman Agha is placed tenth. Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s Towhid Hridoy has moved up five spots to 27th, and Tanzid Hasan has made a significant jump of 14 places to reach 40th position.

ODI Bowling Rankings

In the ODI bowling rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan continues to lead the chart at number one. England’s Jofra Archer is ranked second.

Australia’s Adam Zampa and Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed have both improved their standings, moving up to tenth and eleventh positions respectively. Bangladesh’s Ebadot Hossain has climbed 10 places to 60th in the rankings.

ODI All-Rounder Rankings

In the ODI all-rounder rankings, Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai holds the top spot.

Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza has moved up one place to second position, while Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz has dropped two places to fourth. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has improved by two positions to secure fifth place.
