How Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo are moving forward after generous divorce settlement
Jelly Roll is reportedly doing well after finalising his divorce from Bunnie Xo earlier this month following 10 years of marriage.
A source has revealed that the Grammy-winning singer is now focused on his tour and his health.
“He’s focused on his tour and his health,” the insider told People, adding that he is “in a good place.”
The source added that Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, wanted the divorce to be handled with care.
“There was never any desire to drag the process out,” the insider said. “They both wanted to handle the divorce with respect for one another.”
The source also described the singer as “a very generous person” who wanted to make sure the settlement was fair and respectful.
While the terms of the settlement remain private, TMZ reported that Bunnie will receive a one-time lump-sum payment. The pair will also divide several shared assets, including homes, vehicles, an aircraft and intellectual property. The report also said they agreed not to speak negatively about each other in public.
Shortly after the divorce was finalised, Bunnie Xo also gave fans a tour of her new home on social media alongside comedian Matt Matthews.
In the video, Matthews reacted with surprise as Bunnie showed him features of the house, including a large closet and makeup room, a huge bedroom, an outdoor shower and a room dedicated to shoes.
As he entered the shelved space for shoes, he gushed in disbelief, “This is for shoes?” At one point, he joked, “I’m not even happy for you! This is stupid,” and later added, “I live in a trailer compared to this!”
Despite ending their marriage, the former couple appears to remain on good terms. During a concert in June, Jelly Roll told the crowd, “Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends.”
Bunnie has also said on her podcast that the two still hope to have a baby together, although she was recently seen packing on PDA with 24-year-old reality star Dylan Wolf at Jelly Roll’s Nashville bar.
