Harry Styles receives banner from Jalen Brunson at the end of 30-night Madison Square Garden residency
The New York Knicks point guard presented the singer with the commemorative banner during the final show
Harry Styles has received a special 30-night banner at Madison Square Garden after bringing his record-breaking Together, Together residency to a close on October 31.
New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson presented the singer with the commemorative banner during the final show, celebrating his consecutive run of 30 performances at the iconic New York venue.
The pair shared a hug as the audience cheered, with Brunson wearing a “Techno Is My Boyfriend” hat previously associated with Styles.
The presentation took place during the second night of Styles’ Halloween performances, known as Harryween.
The singer marked the occasion by dressing as a New York City rat and performing “Psycho Killer” by Talking Heads.
The previous evening, Styles had worn an Elvis costume before changing into the outfit from his X Factor audition.
He also performed Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely”, the same song he sang during his original audition.
This is not the first time Styles has been honoured at Madison Square Garden. In 2022, he completed a 15-night residency at the venue and received a commemorative banner during his final performance.
Reflecting on that recognition, he told the audience: “Any time that you come to Madison Square Garden and you see that, remember it’s because of you. That is ours.”
The Together, Together tour also included performances in Amsterdam, London, Brazil and Mexico City before its New York finale.
Throughout the run, its central theme celebrated music’s ability to bring people together and create lasting human connections.
