Gypsy Rose Blanchard shares never-before-seen photos of Ken Urker and daughter after his death
Blanchard described him as an ‘amazing father’ and said he would remain her ‘soulmate’ and ‘red string’
Gypsy Rose Blanchard has shared never-before-seen photos and videos of her late fiancé Ken Urker and their daughter, Aurora Raina, following his death.
Blanchard posted the emotional Instagram carousel on Friday, October 2, remembering Urker as her “greatest love story”. The first photo showed Urker smiling at a restaurant, while another clip featured the couple telling each other they loved one another as they played with Snapchat filters.
She also shared a video of Urker spending time with their daughter Aurora, whom they welcomed in December 2024. In the clip, the family of three could be seen sitting together on a sofa while using a cat Snapchat filter.
Other memories showed Blanchard and Urker joking together, including one video in which they recreated the famous spaghetti scene from Disney’s Lady and the Tramp. Alongside the carousel, Blanchard wrote that Urker would “always be my greatest love story” and would be “remembered and loved forever”.
Blanchard also addressed Urker’s death in a lengthy statement shared on her Instagram Stories. She described him as an “amazing father” and said he would remain her “soulmate” and “red string”, referring to a connection she believes cannot be broken by time, distance or death.
She also claimed that Urker had endured significant public scrutiny and cyberbullying before his death. Blanchard said she believed the pressure and harassment had a profound impact on him, while stressing that their daughter would grow up knowing how deeply her father loved her.
Urker was found dead at a home in Louisiana on October 1, his 34th birthday. Blanchard has said she believes he died from an overdose, although she told People that she did not know whether it was intentional. Officials have not yet confirmed his cause of death, and an investigation remains ongoing.
Blanchard and Urker first connected in 2017 while she was serving a prison sentence for her role in the 2015 killing of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. They became engaged in 2018 before separating in 2019.
After Blanchard was released from prison in December 2023 and later divorced Ryan Anderson, she and Urker rekindled their relationship. They went on to welcome Aurora in December 2024, with Urker becoming the child’s father.
