Gold, silver prices drop across global and local markets

The price of gold per tola has dropped to Rs. 493,762 following the decrease.

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline on Thursday, with the price of one tola falling by Rs. 5,200.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola has dropped to Rs. 493,762 following the decrease.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs. 4,458, bringing it down to Rs. 423, 321 in the local market.

Silver prices also witnessed a decline, with per tola rates falling by Rs. 225 to Rs. 8,099. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs. 193, reaching Rs. 6,943.

In the international market, gold prices also saw a downward trend, falling by $52 to settle at $4,714 per ounce.

The drop in gold prices reflects fluctuations in the global bullion market, which continue to influence domestic rates.
