Bruce Willis attends daughter Tallulah’s wedding in rare appearance since dementia diagnosis
Willis has largely remained out of the public eye after being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023
Bruce Willis has made a rare public appearance at his daughter Tallulah Willis’s wedding, three years after being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
The 71-year-old actor attended the wedding in Idaho, where Tallulah married musician Justin Acee.
Willis was photographed embracing his daughter while holding hands with his new son-in-law in a photo series published by Vogue.

Tallulah shared the image on social media, writing, “A tender moment with my dad and Justin at the start of wedding weekend.”
Willis has largely remained out of the public eye since his diagnosis in 2023.
His wife, Emma Heming Willis, said in January that the actor “doesn’t know” he has the degenerative condition, with anosognosia among the neurological symptoms affecting his ability to recognise his illness.
Tallulah, 32, is Willis’s youngest daughter with former wife Demi Moore. Her sisters are Rumer, 37, and Scout, 35. Willis and Heming Willis, who married in 2009, also have daughters Mabel, 14, and Evelyn, 12.
Earlier this month, Heming Willis discussed the difficulty of celebrating her 50th birthday while dealing with her husband’s condition.
Speaking on Hoda Kotb’s Making Space podcast, she said, “I think guilt is something that I am always carrying, but I’ve learned that it is really not helpful.”
She also said she believes Willis would want her to celebrate with family and friends despite the circumstances.
