Alexander brothers’ survivors speak out in new documentary ahead of sentencing
‘The Wolves of Real Estate: The Alexander Brothers’ features women recounting their experiences with the brothers
Survivors of the Alexander brothers’ sexual abuse are sharing their experiences in a new documentary examining the rise and fall of the wealthy real estate siblings, who were convicted of sex trafficking earlier this year.
The Wolves of Real Estate: The Alexander Brothers features women recounting their alleged experiences with Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander, including the difficulty of understanding what happened to them and finding the courage to speak publicly. The three-part documentary premieres on Peacock on Sunday, October 25, just two days before the brothers are scheduled to be sentenced in federal court.
“I didn’t even know what to call what they did to me,” one woman says in a preview of the documentary. Another survivor breaks down in tears while describing her experience.
The documentary explores how the brothers allegedly used their wealth, luxury holidays and glamorous social lives to attract women before drugging and sexually assaulting them. Tal and Oren became prominent figures in the luxury real estate industry, while Alon held an executive role at the family’s security company.
The brothers moved within wealthy social circles in Miami, New York City, the Hamptons and Aspen. Their public image stood in stark contrast to the allegations that eventually led to their arrests in December 2024.
Following a five-week federal trial in Manhattan earlier this year, all three brothers were convicted of charges including sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. Additional convictions included offences involving minors and sexual abuse. Prosecutors have requested life sentences for the brothers ahead of their October 27 sentencing.
The documentary also examines why it took some women years to come forward and the influence that wealth and power can have on whether survivors feel safe speaking publicly. Some witnesses at the brothers’ trial testified under pseudonyms to protect their identities.
The case gained wider attention after women filed civil lawsuits against Oren and Alon, accusing them of rape and sexual assault. Those cases were followed by further allegations from dozens of women, contributing to the criminal investigation and prosecution.
The Wolves of Real Estate: The Alexander Brothers aims to provide a broader account of the case beyond the courtroom proceedings, drawing on interviews and accounts from people connected to the brothers at different stages of their lives.
The series arrives as the brothers face sentencing following their federal convictions. Prosecutors have argued for life imprisonment, while the documentary revisits the experiences of women whose accounts helped bring the case into the public eye.
All three episodes of The Wolves of Real Estate: The Alexander Brothers will premiere on Peacock on Sunday, October 25.
