Donald Trump has delivered a savage blow to political commentator Bill Maher in a lengthy post.
On Friday, October 23, HBO political talk show Real Time with Bill Maher hosted former press secretary Karoline Leavitt, where she opened up about her former boss President Trump’s leadership style and how her professional relationship was with him when she was serving at the White House from January 2025 to August 2026.
Taking a jab at Maher, Trump penned a long post on Truth Social calling him a “total loser,” and he labelled his show as “low rated.”
He wrote, “Let’s talk about this complete and total loser, Bill Maher. He’s got a low rated show on equally low rated HBO, which was once, long ago, a network of quality and excitement — but that’s all gone. It’s not “HOT” anymore!”
The 80-year-old went on to reflect on Leavitt’s comment, “Karoline Leavitt was great on the show, but she started with a biased, dumb sleazebag, asking questions. She defended me, and herself, so well, but couldn’t be comfortable going against lie after lie.”
Accusing Mahel of “fake polls” to highlight alleged unfavorable ratings amid lying “about everything,” Trump thinks that he was not told the truth when he asked the renowned host about all the applause and laughter he gets after almost everything he says [on the show], about things that aren’t funny or even any good, what laughter machine does he use?”
“People can’t think he’s funny,” President Donald Trump wrote.
