Harry and his wife, Meghan, stepped down as senior working members of the British royal family in 2020.
LONDON: Prince Harry’s team has issued its first public statement after reports that the Duke of Sussex plans to make more frequent visits to Britain, raising hopes of further royal reunions.
The Invictus Games Foundation, one of Harry’s key projects, shared details on Aug. 17 of a gathering focused on the experiences of service personnel and veterans.
The foundation posted a series of photographs from its 14th IGF Conversation, bringing together policymakers and experts from across the Invictus community to discuss how government policy can support recovery, rehabilitation and long-term assistance for military personnel and veterans.
The organization said the discussion highlighted the role of the Invictus Games Foundation in bringing countries together, sharing best practices and helping develop stronger approaches to recovery across the global Invictus movement.
The statement came after The Sunday Times reported that Harry was expected to make more frequent trips to the UK, partly to promote the Invictus Games Birmingham and potentially to rebuild his relationship with his father, King Charles III.
An unnamed source quoted by the newspaper said Harry was expected to spend more time in Britain as his visits could increasingly focus on his patronages and public work.
