‘Friends’ actress Jennifer Aniston’s support for boyfriend Jim Curtis raises concerns

Jennifer Aniston’s endorsement of Jim Curtis has raised eyebrows.
According to Radar Online, Jennifer will appear alongside her boyfriend at his New York City book talk on September 2, 2026, which has made her friends concerned that he may be benefiting through her fame. “Let’s be honest – Jennifer is the star attraction,” a source told the outlet.
Adding, “People aren’t spending over a hundred dollars because they’re desperate to hear Jim talk about his book. They’re buying a ticket hoping to catch a glimpse of Jennifer. Without her, this event wouldn’t be generating nearly as much buzz.”
“The worry isn’t that Jim wrote a book.”
“It’s that Jennifer’s fame is doing all the heavy lifting. Her friends are fiercely protective of her and some think the lines between supportive girlfriend and marketing strategy are starting to blur.” The source further claimed.
Noting, “It’s not that anyone dislikes Jim, by all accounts he’s a great guy. Friends are just scared Jen is abandoning herself to this relationship. She’s totally joined at the hip with Jim and won’t make a plan without consulting him first.”
Besides the concerns, another source added that Jennifer Aniston “wanted” to be there for her boyfriend Jim Curtis.
“Nobody twisted her arm. She believes in Jim, she’s proud of him and she’s happy to support his work,” the source further added.
It is pertinent to mention that the Emmy-winning actress is known for her iconic role as Rachel Green, which she played in Friends and gained worldwide recognition.
