Washington: The United States Vice President JD Vance praised Pakistan for playing a constructive and important role in facilitating diplomatic talks between Iran and the United States, highlighting Islamabad’s positive contribution to the negotiations process.
Speaking to the Fox News after returning to home, he praised Pakistan’s leadership, calling Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir “exceptional hosts.”
He said both leaders demonstrated true statesmanship during recent engagements.
JD Vance added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir played a commendable role in facilitating understanding between the United States and Iran.
He further noted that Washington and Tehran had not engaged in such serious negotiations in a long time.
