
LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced a comprehensive relief package for the public, including the removal of motorbike registration and transfer fees across the province.
In her statement, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that all motorbike registration charges have been abolished to provide financial relief to the people of Punjab. The Chief Minister added that motorbike transfer fees have also been waived.

Under the new package, each registered motorbike will receive a monthly subsidy of PKR 2,000. Additionally, registered motorbikes will be provided a fuel subsidy for 20 liters of petrol per month at PKR 100 per liter.
Maryam Nawaz further stated that motorbike owners can call Helpline 1000 to avail the fuel subsidy. She emphasized that the government is committed to reducing the economic burden on ordinary citizens through continuous efforts and support measures.
The package also includes a fuel subsidy: registered motorcycles will be eligible for a discount of Rs100 per liter on up to 20 liters of petrol each month.
Eligible owners can apply for the fuel subsidy through multiple channels, including calling the 1000 helpline, using the “Maryam Ko Batain” app, or via the official government portal.
