Rapper 21 Savage has shared the first photo of his and Latto’s newborn baby following weeks of speculation surrounding the couple’s growing family.
21 Savage posted a series of images on Instagram on Wednesday, including a photograph of a newborn lying on a cream blanket while wearing a white Arsenal onesie. The rapper captioned the post, “We Did It !!!!!!!!”.
The update came shortly after Latto appeared to confirm she had recently given birth through a personal video documenting her pregnancy journey.
The clip featured moments from doctor appointments, recording sessions, holidays and a baby shower attended by 21 Savage.
Towards the end of the video, Latto spoke about nearing the end of her pregnancy and preparing for the baby’s arrival.
“37 weeks today. Basically full term. And it’s any day now. I am so ready to meet my baby. I’m never going to leave when my baby gets here. I need a million dollars to show because I don’t wanna leave the house. This will probably be the last video I make,” she said.
The video later transitioned into promotional visuals for her album Big Mama, accompanied by audio recorded in the delivery room, including voices encouraging her during labour.
Latto first announced her pregnancy in March while unveiling the artwork for Big Mama and releasing the music video for “Business & Personal”.
Neither artist has publicly revealed the baby’s name or gender.
In an earlier interview with Paper Magazine, Latto explained that the couple intentionally chose not to learn the baby’s gender before birth, saying, “We decided from the jump we was gonna make [the gender] a surprise.”
