Emma Watson has recently been seen several times with Mexican entrepreneur Gonzalo Hevia Baillères, prompting speculation about a possible relationship between the pair.
Reports linking the Harry Potter actor with the businessman began circulating in early 2026 after they were allegedly seen attending a wedding together in Mexico. In March, the two were photographed together at an airport by Mexican publication Quién, further fuelling interest in their connection.
Additional sightings reportedly placed them together in Courchevel in the French Alps, in Punta Mita on Mexico’s Pacific coast, and at several locations in Mexico City. One photograph circulating online appeared to show the pair displaying public affection, though neither Watson nor Hevia Baillères has publicly commented on the nature of their relationship.
Hevia Baillères comes from one of Mexico’s most prominent business families. His grandparents, Teresa Gual and Alberto Baillères, built a major fortune through the mining company Industrias Peñoles. The family also controls Grupo BAL and the luxury department store chain El Palacio de Hierro.
Financial estimates place the Baillères family among the wealthiest in Latin America. Forbes has ranked them as the fourth-richest family in Mexico and tenth in the region, with combined wealth estimated between $6.65 billion and $19.7 billion.
Despite this background, Hevia Baillères has focused on building his own ventures in the technology sector. He studied at institutions including the Swiss boarding school Le Rosey, Ransom Everglades School in Miami, and the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM), where he graduated with a degree in Economics.
In 2019, he founded INSAITE, an artificial intelligence company that was sold to a larger software firm two years later. He later launched Lok in 2021, a company developing smart locker technology designed for online retail deliveries, collections and returns.
Hevia Baillères also leads HBeyond, an international investment firm with offices in New York, Miami and Mexico City that focuses on emerging technologies.
Although he comes from a prominent family, he maintains a relatively private lifestyle and keeps a limited presence online, with a private Instagram account followed by just over 1,000 users.
Before the recent speculation involving Watson, he was previously linked to Spanish-Mexican singer and actor Belinda Peregrín from late 2022 until early 2024.
