WATCH: Hilarious video of Babar Azam calling Saud Shakeel ‘chota don’

National squad begins training at Pindi Cricket Stadium for upcoming Test series against Australia

As the Pakistan cricket team commenced their training camp for the three-match Test series against Australia, a hilarious video of former skipper Babar Azam engaging in banter with teammates during fielding drills surfaced on the internet.

The national squad is training at the Pindi Cricket Stadium for the upcoming away series set to begin on December 14.

On the first day of the training session, various noteworthy moments unfolded at the cricket ground. During the slip-catching drills, Babar was heard calling Saud Shakeel ‘Chota Don’ (little don) for taking a catch efficiently.

The playful nicknaming of the southpaw was in reference to a comedic character ‘Chota Don’ portrayed by Rajpal Yadav in the Indian film Partner, with the word ‘Chota’ humorously referencing the character’s diminutive stature.

Alongside the light-hearted banter, Babar Azam participated in warm-up activities, engaging in a brisk jog around the ground with Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan.

The star batter, who stepped down from captaincy recently, demonstrated a dedicated approach, concentrating on refining his batting skills during the net practice session.
