Three constabulary personnel martyred as extremists attack ambulance in Karak

The extremist group Fitna-al-Khawarij set fire to a Rescue 1122 ambulance in Karak, killing injured personnel onboard. The incident, which took place on 23 February 2026 in Qila Shaheedan, involved the attack on a Federal Constabulary post using a quadcopter.

The martyrs include Sepoy Murad Gul and Sepoy Ayan Khan from Hangu District, and Lance Naik Adil Khan from Mansehra District  all local Pashtuns of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Injured personnel, including ambulance driver Ahmed Hussain and others, were transferred to hospitals in Bannu and Karak for urgent treatment.

Following the attack, two ambulances arrived to evacuate the injured. Tragically, one ambulance was targeted and set ablaze by the terrorists, resulting in the martyrdom of three brave constabulary personnel and injuries to others.

This brutal act, occurring during the holy month of Ramadan, underscores the barbarity of these terrorists who deliberately targeted the wounded, violating Islamic teachings that prohibit harm to the injured even in times of war. Such acts of violence and terror are condemned universally and reflect a complete deviation from humanity and religion.

Authorities have vowed to pursue those responsible and bring them to justice. The nation stands united in condemning this atrocity and honoring the sacrifices of our brave security personnel.
