Ten arrested PTI leaders attend NA session after speaker issues production orders | The Express Tribune

Ten members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have arrived at the National Assembly session after Speaker Ayaz Sadiq issued their production orders.

The session is being presided over by Deputy Speaker Syed Mir Ghulam Mustafa Shah.

The PTI members who attended the session include Waqas Akram Sheikh, Zain Qureshi, Malik Owais Jhakkar, Malik Amir Dogar, Ahmad Chattha, Zubair Khan Wazir, Syed Ahad Ali Shah, Syed Naseem Ali Shah, Sher Afzal Marwat, and Yousuf Khan. 

Following the session, the arrested members were to be handed over to Acting Sergeant-at-Arms Farhat Abbas.

During the session, the arrested members were expected to share their accounts of how and where they were detained. Once the session concluded, security was to be transferred back to Islamabad Police.

It is important to note that all ten arrested members are currently under police custody on physical remand.
