Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce opt for ‘normalcy’ this holiday season

With the holiday season fast approaching, Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, are keeping their plans simple.
Rather than hosting an extravagant celebration, sources tell Us Weekly that the newly engaged couple are opting for a “low-key” and family-focused holiday surrounded by loved ones.
“It will be very low-key, family-centric and [won’t involve any] major travel,” an insider shared, noting that both Swift and Kelce appreciate “simplicity and normalcy together” after balancing two high-profile careers.
This holiday season will be the pair’s first since getting engaged in August, but they’re prioritising time with their families.
With the NFL season in full swing, Kelce will spend part of the holidays on the field — the Kansas City Chiefs play at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving and return to Arrowhead Stadium for a Christmas Day game.
According to the source, “The Kansas City Chiefs fits right in with her family, and Taylor adores [his mom] Donna. They talk all the time.” The couple “make sure to see both sides as often as they can. They are super family-oriented, and they have always loved that about one another.”
After a whirlwind year, Swift and Kelce enjoy keeping things grounded. “Taylor and Travis are really chill,” another insider added. “On a typical night in, they have dinner and figure out what to stream. It’s very domestic and calm.”
