Tame Impala tease ‘Dracula’ remix featuring BLACKPINK’s Jennie

Kevin Parker, the creative force behind the Australian project, shared a short clip on social media on Wednesday

Tame Impala have teased a remix of their hit single “Dracula” featuring BLACKPINK’s Jennie, with the collaboration set for release later this week.

Kevin Parker, the creative force behind the Australian project, shared a short clip on social media on February 4 hinting at the remix, captioning the post “Surprise… Friday 🩸.”

The track is scheduled to be released on February 6, confirming days of fan speculation around a potential crossover between the psychedelic pop act and the K-pop star.

Hints of the collaboration had been circulating online prior to Parker’s post. Fans noticed a subtle change to the description of the original “Dracula” music video on YouTube, where the lyric “My friends are saying ‘shut up Kevin just get in the car’” was edited to replace Parker’s name with Jennie’s. Jennie’s independent label, Odd Atelier, also shared a pre-save link on social media without further explanation, while Parker was photographed by a fan wearing official Jennie merchandise.

“Dracula” was originally released in September 2025 as part of Tame Impala’s fifth studio album Deadbeat. The disco and electropop track became one of the band’s most successful releases, marking their first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and placing third in triple j’s Hottest 100 for 2025.

Jennie, a member of global K-pop group BLACKPINK, has continued to expand her solo career alongside group activities. She recently, she launched her own label, Odd Atelier, and partnered with Columbia Records.

Under this new chapter, Jennie released her debut studio album Ruby in March last year. The 15-track project blends pop and R&B and includes collaborations with artists such as Dominic Fike, Doechii, Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino and FKJ, with singles including “Mantra,” “Love Hangover,” “ExtraL,” and “Seoul City.”
