
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Sherry Rehman’s daughter, Marvi Malik, passed away at the age of 37 after a brain haemorrhage on Sunday, the family announced.
According to reports, Marvi was admitted to a private hospital in Clifton on March 16 after suffering a brain hemorrhage. She passed away early this morning. She was unmarried and the only daughter of her parents.
Her funeral prayer is scheduled for Monday at 3:30pm at DHA Phase 8, Karachi.
Political and social personalities have expressed deep sorrow and grief over her passing.
President Asif Ali Zardari extended his condolences, praying for her forgiveness and for the family to bear the loss with strength.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed condolences to Senator Sherry Rehman on the death of her daughter.
