Savannah Guthrie issues fresh appeal ‘to do the right thing’ 2 weeks after mother Nancy taken

‘bring her home. it’s never too late to do the next right thing’, the US televison presenter pleaded on Instagram

Savannah Guthrie has released a new video message following the disappearance of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, urging those responsible or anyone with information to come forward.

The 54-year-old host of the TODAY Show shared the appeal on Instagram, marking two weeks since her mother was taken. In the video, she said, “It’s been two weeks since our mom was taken, and I just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope and we still believe.”

She continued with a direct message, “And I wanted to say to whoever has her or knows where she is, that it’s never too late, and you’re not lost or alone, and it is never too late to do the right thing. And we are here.”

Reaffirming her family’s resolve, Guthrie added, “We believe. And we believe in the essential goodness of every human being. And it’s never too late.”

She captioned the post, “bring her home. it’s never too late to do the next right thing.”

The renewed appeal came hours after investigators confirmed that gloves recovered during the inquiry contain DNA that may correspond with gloves seen in surveillance footage of a suspect.

Chris Nanos of the Pima County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement addressing the evolving timeline in the search for Nancy, describing developments in the case as concerning.

Authorities have not released further identifying details, but forensic analysis and video evidence remain central to the investigation as the search continues.
