Caretaker Provincial Health Minister Professor Dr. Javed Akram says that that Begum Akhtar Rukhsana, a resident of Rawalpindi, has saved the lives of three people by donating her organs. The female patient under treatment at CMH Rawalpindi was shifted to Safari Hospital after declaration of brain death. According to the wishes of the patient, her organs proved useful in saving three other human lives. The transplantation process was successful under the leadership of Dr. Faisal Dar.
While speaking at a press conference, Professor Dr. Javed Akram further said that this journey of service to humanity will continue. Alhamdulillah, all three patients are recovering after the transplant. The provincial health minister ordered the Punjab Human Organ Transplantation Authority to crack down on the elements involved in the illegal transplantation of human organs. Professor Dr. Javed Akram said, May Allah raise the ranks of Begum Akhtar Rukhsana, the woman who saved three human lives by donating her organs. A woman who donated her organs after death has done a great service to humanity by saving the lives of three people. Provincial Health Minister Prof. Dr. Javed Akram announced posthumous donation of his organs. Provincial Health Minister Prof. Dr. Javed Akram paid tribute to Dean PKLI and his team for saving three precious human lives.
Provincial Minister Syed Azfar Ali Nasir congratulated Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Health Minister Professor Dr. Javed Akram and Dean PKLI Dr. Faisal Saud on the successful transplant of three patients. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi, we will continue to serve the people.
Dean PKLI Professor Dr. Faisal Saud Dar said that Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute is providing the best medical facilities to the patients. With the help of Allah, the three patients have been able to get transplant.
