Punjab Traffic Police has issued 5.5 million driving licenses in the last 100 days, including learner, regular and other types of licenses, according to a spokesperson.
During this time, more than 2.2 million learner licenses and 147,000 regular driving licenses were issued across the province.
The spokesperson said that over 186,000 people also renewed their learner, regular and international licenses, while more than 8,700 citizens received duplicate licenses. In addition, the department issued more than 13,700 international driving permits.
He further said that more than 2.142 million people used the online licensing system during this period, which shows that more citizens are now depending on digital services.
