Appearing alongside close friend Mike Tindall on Good Morning Britain, Haskell offered insights into the couple’s lighter side, as discussed on their podcast, The Good, the Bad & the Rugby.

Tindall, who is married to William’s cousin Zara, revealed the warm relationship they share with the Prince and Princess of Wales, noting that royal watchers loved their appearance on the show last September.

The couple’s relaxed and down-to-earth humor made a strong impression, further cementing their popularity and showing yet another layer to the modern monarchy.

The recent episode of The Good, the Bad & the Rugby featured a heartwarming family reunion, with the Princess Royal joining Prince William and Princess Kate.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Haskell reflected on the special episode, noting, “That podcast was brilliant because we see them at their best.

They have a wicked sense of humor. Here in the UK, we often put people on a pedestal, but they’re really a regular family—an incredible family that does so much for the country, but still a regular family.”

Recorded at Windsor Castle during the 2023 Rugby World Cup, the episode was a delight for royal fans.

Kate shared a playful anecdote, revealing that she and William have never actually completed a game of tennis, as it quickly becomes a ‘mental challenge’ between them.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both patrons of the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), Rugby Football Union (RFU), and Scottish Rugby Union (SRU), brought a relaxed, relatable charm to the episode, capturing their shared love of sports and family.
