Petrol, and Diesel Prices on December 1: There is a very slight decline in the prices of crude oil in the international market. Around 6 am on Thursday, WTI crude was being sold at $ 75.78 per barrel while remaining in the red. At the same time, Brent crude has also fallen and is trading at $ 82.83 per barrel. Oil marketing companies in the country have released the latest rates of petrol and diesel. In India, fuel prices are revised every morning at 6 am. Before June 2017, price revision was done every 15 days.
Petrol has become cheaper by 25 paise and diesel by 24 paise in West Bengal. There is a decline in the prices of petrol and diesel in Uttarakhand, Telangana and Punjab also. In Uttar Pradesh, petrol has become costlier by 15 paise and diesel by 16 paise. Apart from this, the prices of petrol and diesel are also increasing in Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Manipur.
At present, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 96.72 a litre while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.62 a litre. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per litre. While petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per litre. On the other hand, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per litre in Chennai.
