Pakistan squad reaches Zimbabwe for white-ball series – SUCH TV

Pakistan’s national cricket team has arrived in Blantyre, Zimbabwe, for the upcoming white-ball series against the hosts.

The squad, which includes 10 players, travelled via Dubai for the three-match ODI and T20 series, set to begin later this month.

A portion of the team, which travelled earlier, had already reached Zimbabwe following Pakistan’s recently concluded series against Australia. This includes key players such as captain Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Rauf, Salman Ali Agha, Mohammad Irfan Khan, and Haseebullah Khan.

Notably, star players Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Naseem Shah have been rested for the series to allow newer players an opportunity. The decision comes as part of the team’s strategy to rotate key players during less high-profile tours.

“We are giving younger talent the chance to prove themselves in this series,” Rizwan said ahead of the team’s arrival. “It’s essential for our long-term planning.”

The series will begin with three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) on November 24, 26, and 28, followed by three T20 matches on December 1, 3, and 5.

The squad will have a rest day today before their first ODI against Zimbabwe.
