Natasha Lyonne speaks out after reportedly being removal from flight following ‘Euphoria’ premiere

Lyonne had been scheduled to appear on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ on Wednesday, which is filmed in New York

Natasha Lyonne has responded to reports that she was escorted off an aeroplane following the Los Angeles premiere of the HBO series Euphoria Season 3, according to Jackie Strause.

The reported incident took place after the event held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday evening. Lyonne, who has joined the cast for the upcoming season, was said to have boarded a Delta overnight flight bound for New York shortly after attending the event.

According to an eyewitness account published by Page Six, Lyonne was seated in first class and appeared unresponsive when flight attendants requested that she close her laptop and fasten her seatbelt prior to take-off. The report stated that after repeated attempts to gain compliance, the aircraft returned to the gate.

The account further alleged that Lyonne was informed that the plane would not depart until she disembarked. She reportedly went to the bathroom before eventually leaving the aircraft, resulting in a delay of more than an hour.

On Thursday, Lyonne addressed the situation on social media as the report circulated. “My heart is with all the unpaid TSA agents at our airports,” she wrote. “Sure was looking forward to speaking honestly with @DrewBarrymore yesterday but guess wasn’t in the cards. Who owns page six/New York Post now again?”

Lyonne had been scheduled to appear on The Drew Barrymore Show on Wednesday, which is filmed in New York.

The actress has previously spoken openly about her recovery journey, noting in recent months that she had returned to sobriety following a relapse earlier this year.
