Country singer Maren Morris has drawn attention online after sharing a TikTok video in which she criticised supporters of US President Donald Trump and expressed strong views about recent political developments.
The 35-year-old artist posted the video on social media to share her reaction to actions linked to the Trump administration. During the clip, Morris said she does not “have forgiveness” for people who supported Trump in elections where he was a candidate.
Referring specifically to voters who supported Trump in multiple elections, Morris said, “I don’t have forgiveness for the triple Trumpers,” before extending the remark more broadly. “You did vote for this,” she stated.
Her comments became more direct as the video continued, with Morris criticising the president and accusing his supporters of being misled. Speaking about Trump, she described him as a “dementia-ridden, diaper-clad, cornball, ex-TV host, bankrupt to f—k…Look at his stats, actually.”
Morris continued by addressing voters directly. “You voted for this, and you got bamboozled,” she said. “And I get it, like, Fox News is a propaganda machine of just, like, Cocomelon brain rot for boomers.”
She concluded the statement by adding, “But this is literally the result of ploying and voting for losers.”
The video generated a wide range of reactions across social media platforms. Some viewers criticised the remarks, while many supporters responded positively and referenced lyrics from Morris’s songs.
Morris publicly supported Kamala Harris during the 2024 US presidential election and has previously spoken about political issues through interviews and social media posts.
