Get ready for mischief, magic, and Mother Gothel, Kathryn Hahn is officially stepping into Disney villainy in the live-action Tangled, and her cheeky Instagram tease has fans buzzing with excitement.

Wearing a T-shirt covered in Mother Gothel images, Hahn joked about learning what “OOTD” means, giving fans a first taste of her playful take on the iconic role.

In the remake, Teagan Croft will shine as Rapunzel, the princess with magical golden hair trapped in a tower, while Milo Manheim brings charm to Flynn Rider, the rogue who helps Rapunzel escape and discover the outside world.

The film is directed by Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman), with a screenplay by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Do Revenge, Someone Great), and produced by Kristin Burr for Burr! Productions.

Disney’s original animated Tangled (2010), directed by Nathan Greno and Byron Howard, starred Mandy Moore as Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as Flynn Rider. The film grossed over $590 million worldwide and earned an Academy Award nomination for the song “I See the Light.”

Hahn fully embraced her villainous persona on social media. She posted a video wearing a Mother Gothel-themed T-shirt captioned “OOTD, Mother Gothel” and updated her Instagram bio to read “mother knows best”, a playful nod to Gothel’s famous line.

Fans erupted online with excitement. Comments included: “WE HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR THIS!”, “SCREAMING IN THE STREET BEST NEWS”, and “WE’RE SO HAPPY FOR YOU!! BEST CASTING EVER!!”

With Teagan Croft as Rapunzel and Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider already confirmed, the live-action Tangled promises a dazzling mix of magic, humor, and heart, bringing Disney’s beloved fairy tale spectacularly to life.
