Five people drown while swimming at Karachi’s Manora Beach

KARACHI: A tragic incident occurred at Manora Beach on Wednesday, where at least five people drowned while swimming in the sea.

The rescue teams immediately launched a search operation and managed to recover the bodies of two victims.

Rescue officials said the remaining three individuals were pulled out in an unconscious state and shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities added that it has not yet been confirmed whether all five individuals belonged to the same family.
